Although I have been to Versailles, I do not remember seeing this Atget image – Versailles, Bosquet de la Colonnade, date unknown – but I like the photograph because it is the type of shot I would take.

Although the view I have seen from Trocadero includes the Eiffel Tower, Morisot’s - View of Paris From the Trocadero Heights, 1872 – is a nice reminder of the area pre-Eiffel.
