Berthe Morisot – Thursday 14 January 1841 Bourges, France to Saturday 2 March 1895 Paris, France
French Impressionist Painter
Although the view I have seen from Trocadero includes the Eiffel Tower, Morisot’s - View of Paris From the Trocadero Heights, 1872 – is a nice reminder of the area pre-Eiffel.

Last Monday’s Artist – Charles Rettew Sheeler, Jr.
Next Monday’s Artist – Thomas Cowperthwait Eakins
