Monday Morning Museum: Charles Nègre

Charles Nègre – 1820 Grasse, France to 1880 Grasse, France

French Photographer

The primary reason that I like this photograph – Arles. Saint-Trophime, 1852 – is the composition of the print and how it draws me into the picture.

Last Monday’s Artist – Francesco Lazzaro Guardi
Next Monday’s Artist – Katsushika Hokusai
